Support NetworkThe volunteer team of the Mexico Project maintains dialog with civilian and military authorities, as well as with churches, the diplomatic body and state and international organizations, in order to promote the development of an international support network. This international network is made up of a wide variety of institutions, members of parliament, church groups, NGOs, governmental and civil employees and diplomats, that have endorsed the Mexico Project's work. This support network is an expression of the international community's concern about the situation in a country or around a certain conflict. The Mexico Project provides information about our work and about the human rights situation in Mexico to the support network through regular meetings and publications. In emergency situations this network supports PBI and shows concerns to the relevant Mexican authorities, so that the activists who we accompany can continue their work defending human rights. |
