Volunteering in the UK

PBI depends almost entirely on the commitment and good will of its growing team of volunteers. If you have some time to spare and skills to share, there are several opportunities for you to volunteer with PBI-UK in London and around the country. If any of these possibilities interest you please email us to get an application form and send it to us.

Volunteer in London

You may be able to help the PBI team in London by helping us with:

• our fundraising strategy and preparing applications to trusts
• developing new publicity materials such as leaflets, information packs or the website
• advocacy work, helping us to build our support network
  
• outreach and spreading the word about the work of our projects
• administration, helping the office to run smoothly and efficiently

Volunteer locally

You can help raise funds and awareness locally by:

• spreading the word amongst like-minded people
• getting in contact with similar organisations
• distributing leaflets and information about PBI
• raising funds for PBI by organising events like a pub-quiz or a treasure hunt
• setting up a local group

Host PBI Photographic Exhibition

We are always looking for venues to display our photographic exhibitions (there are three different formats) it can be a great way to raise awareness of PBI's work, you could combine it with inviting a speaker or showing one of our documentaries

Volunteer at a festival

Join one of our festivals teams - Please fill in an application form if you are interested in joining PBI volunteers at festivals like Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds have fun whilst raising funds.
